James Buskard, President of Nevada Exploration, took us through the novel approach his company are using to find gold in the 55% of Nevada where the bedrock lies mostly covered in sediment and unexplored.

To date, the required drilling costs in these deep, sediment filled basins has often thwarted exploration efforts. Nevada believe that by sampling the groundwater from within the covered terranes of their target areas, they can identify the hydrogeochemical footprint of gold deposits.

In the interview James also provides some details on the three land packages they currently have in Nevada and gives us an insight into the geochemically experienced team behind Nevada Exploration.

Nevada Exploration is exploring for large new Carlin-type gold deposits in Nevada’s underexplored covered valley basins by incorporating the latest in under-cover exploration technology. The Company is led by an experienced management team that has been involved in many important discoveries in Nevada, including Lone Tree and Rabbit Creek, and is advancing a portfolio of new district-scale gold projects along Nevada’s Cortez Trend.
